By law all sales of alcohol conducted on licensed premises must be authorised by a personal licence holder. To apply to become a personal licence holder, the applicant must hold a regulated qualification to prove they can sell alcohol both legally and responsibly. The personal licence is for anyone who works in a role which requires them to sell or authorize the sale of alcohol to the public. We advise directors or owners of restaurants/bars to make anybody holding the position of General Manager or similar a Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS ), in order to demonstrate compliance in the event of a licensing visit.
Book your in-house Personal Licence Holder Course with us before you open your new premises. HRS Management Ltd is an accredited personal licence qualification provider through HABC (Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance).
