Friday, September 14, 2018 TRAINING YOUR STAFF It is a legal requirement to provide training for all your staff. Providing the right safety training for your employees boosts staff commitment and loyalty, helps them to understand how your business works and enables your staff to concentrate on offering outstanding service to your customers. All our consultants and trainers have many years of practical knowledge within the industry and can therefore teach with first-hand experience, capturing along the way the students concerns and imagination. Whatever training your company requires to stay legally compliant in terms of health and safety, food safety or food hygiene, our innovative and refreshing training engages and provides excellent exam results every time. Instruction-Led Training (ILT) If you are looking for tailored courses with practical demonstrations, to improve brand image and skill enhancement, which are nationally accredited and CPD certified, then our face-to-face, instruction-led training is what you are looking for. ILT courses are held onsite and have the additional benefits of: Us providing clear and comprehensive written course material All courses are approved by our training body Highfield Teambuilding Enhanced group interaction and High exam pass rates Blended Approach Some training, such as the Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (ALPH), can be taught in a blended approach. This means that the course can be done online, but the exam must be carried out by a trainer (face-to-face). If this is the desired course option, we provide students with a login and password that enables them to study the course online. The exam can be held at a time that suits the client/student, e.g. we may already have audited the client's workplace and therefore would add a couple of hours at the end of the audit. This will give candidates time for any questions that may have flagged up during the online session, before taking their exam. Alternatively the exam can be added at the end of another course. Potential benefits for this type of course are: Studying at your own speed Potential disadvantages: Lack of interaction with other students and self-discipline Online Courses All our courses, up to Level 3, are available online. The online option is most often used by companies who have a high agency staff turnover, e.g. require induction courses on fire risks or good housekeeping. The courses can be purchased as a bulk license or in single units. Advantages: Cheapest option 24/7 access to course material participants are able to take their time courses can be stopped/started any time that suits the candidates Disadvantages: Questions can arise whether the syllabus has been properly understood (no group interaction) No access to immediate help Lack of forum for conferring with class mates time and space distortion Whatever training your company needs to stay legally compliant in terms of health and safety, food safety or food hygiene, our innovative and refreshing training engages and increases excellent exam results every time.
