Wednesday, January 11, 2017 SAINSBURY’S RECALLS BY SAINSBURY’S READY SALTED CRISPS 6X25G BECAUSE OF UNDECLARED MILK(NEW) Sainsbury’s is recalling its six-pack multi-bags of by Sainsbury’s Ready Salted Crisps (25g) because they contain milk which is not declared within the ingredients list. This means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. Product details Product: Ready Salted Crisps Brand: by Sainsbury’s Pack size: 6x25g (6 pack multi-bag) Best Before date: 04/03/2017 No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected. Risk Allergen: Milk Our advice to consumers If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. Action taken by the company Sainsbury’s is recalling the above product from customers and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
