Friday, December 23, 2016 CO-OP IS RECALLING ITS HOLLOW MILK CHOCOLATE SANTA DUE TO POSSIBLE PRODUCT TAMPERING Co-op is recalling its Hollow Milk Chocolate Santa because of two reports of alleged product tampering where the product was found to contain small batteries. The presence of small batteries makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a risk to health. Risk The product below may contain small batteries which are a choking hazard and can cause burns if swallowed. Instead, customers can also contact Co-op’s Customer Relation Team on 0800 0686 727. Action taken by the Company Co-op is recalling the above product. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling the product. These notices explain to customers why it is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought it.
